"This kitty is such a joy and the best kitty ever. I adore him, he is the sweetest thing. He follows me around everyday at home and when he wants to wake me up he tickles my face with his tail. He responds to his name and comes when you call him mr. waffles. I found some toys he really likes and he runs around chasing a little catnip worm. Thanks so much for giving us such an adorable kitty. He is the best. We love him."

"Angus has been and will continue to be a joyous addition to our family. EVERYONE stops us and admires what a beautiful little boy he is! I have added a few pictures and will continue to send some as he gets older. Thank you all for being on Larchmont at just the right time in our day. We are so happy to have been able to rescue little Angus and hope someday there is room for lot's more."

"I'm not sure a caption is even needed for this one!"

"Thank you for finding me this loving, beautiful, wise, affectionate, funny, smart, playful, dream-boat kitten. i don't know how i've survived without him. I can't wait to have a bigger house so i can adopt a few more!! Saving Grace RULES."
- Georgie R., Dec 31st 2009

"This is Alejandro, adopted by the wonderful Sylvia, and he is now Betoven. He was a very scared and shy kitty, but she saw how wonderful he is, and is working with him, and he is much less timid now. Betoven is on the right, and his new buddy Mozart is on the left".
- Nelia (Saving Grace), Dec 2009

"Well-the picture says it all....Goody has graduated from his very short 'shy and retiring' phase and has found his true goofball nature. Goody's hobbies include sleeping, running around really fast, catching flies and eating them and jumping on my head at exactly 6AM every morning. He has made himself at home and me very happy. Even my other cat kinda likes him- but she won't admit it. Thanks a million times over.".
- Beth, Sept 2009

"Here are the kittens... they have grown a lot in two weeks, are healthy and lively, often crazy as kittens should be and get along famously. The first few days Xena spit and hissed every time Littl' Dude came near, but she got over it and now they are inseparable".
- Maryvonne & Lance, July 2009

"...new pics of Timber (formerly Ginny/Sunday Rose) and Echo (formerly Murran)... Adopted by Jeni and Shane. "

"So about a month ago I met this white kitty. He had just arrived at the cattery and for some reason I felt directly connected to him. It was one of those odd moments where it just felt like a done deal. I was obsessed all day and all night thinking about this little fella. The next day I brought him home. The adjustment was a little tough at first, as he is only about a year old and my other cat is nine years old. So the young, curious, and rebellious teenager side I had long forgotten. In addition to this, Anubis is also deaf, so another challenge, but so worth it. I have to say that I wouldn't change any of this. I absolutely love him. Some times I joke that we must share a brain because we act the same. We are both rebellious in our own ways, and I adore my rebel with a cause. Thank you for saving him! In so many ways he has saved me."

"Here's a pic of Adam with his new friend, Squeakers. Adam has been renamed Byron and was adopted by a great gal named Jackie, who flew Squeakers to LA with her from Ohio after her mother passed away. Adam and Squeakers are now best buds."
- Nelia, Saving Grace, April 2009

"The moment Julie walked in to greet her, Betty ran right up to introduce herself. Last night she slept on my chest for a bit...then decided to sleep on Julie for a bit. It all went very well."
- Rob & Julie, March 2009
Ariel & Jasmine. Separated at the shelter, then reunited and adopted together in the summer of '08 by a nice family in Sherman Oaks! Barbara, their "owner" says: "We have fully fallen in love with Jasmine and Ariel. All of our friends find them to be so loving and friendly. The Kitties are a great addition to the family. My daughter would be lost without them."
- Nelia, Saving Grace, Feb 2009
"Abbott and Costello, renamed Sheldon and Leonard, were saved from the shelter last Spring. They were adopted by Megan Boudrea, who lives in the Larchmont area.

"The kitties are amazing!!!!!! Please let Polly know that kitties are safe and sound!! They are soooo much fun and such sweet cats!! We are in love with them!!!"
- Dana Sano, October 2008 (adopted mom and daughter Natasha & Mika)
"We are so happy that we have cats from you. Life is happier than before. We are a new family ! Cats can understand when you're living with them just like a real human family. They are always trying to talk to us...and we understand what they are saying!!"
- Setsuko & Nao, November 2008 (adopted Tama and Chabo)

"We started as Foster moms but couldn't bear to be without either one of them. These girls have changed our lives!!"
- Angie & Phyllis, November 2008 (adopted Mary and Liza)

"I fell in love with all of the Saving Grace cats, but could only adopt two - a brother and sister duo that I named Buster and Betty. It is clear that they came from a loving place as these two are just full of good energy and clearly received excellent care while in the care of Saving Grace. I strongly recommend Saving Grace as an excellent, caring pet rescue group. Polly and Nelia are doing awesome work."
- John T, December 2008 (adopted Buster & Betty)

"This is Juliet. She was thought to be feral, and was actually in the medical room to be euthanized when the gal who cleans the cages stopped them. I got her the next day. She is the sweetest purr-baby, loves to be held, but was so scared at the shelter they thought she was feral. She was adopted by a wonderful Hancock Park family."
- Nelia, Saving Grace, Dec 2008

"I saved Patrick from Death Row for my friend Christy Jackson to foster. He never made it out to adoptions, her neighbor (who is a photographer) fell in love with him and adopted him."
- Nelia, Saving Grace, Dec 2008

"Anastasia had been in the shelter since May of 2007, when she was turned in with a litter of kittens. In September, when I did my first shelter run, her kittens had all been adopted, but she had been left behind, and her time was up. She didn't get along with my other cats, so she lived in my daughter, Cassandra's, bedroom for 11 months until she was adopted last July by a wonderful Sherman Oaks family and is finally happy being an only kitty.
- Nelia, Saving Grace, Dec 2008

"This is Puck, renamed Olliver. He was pulled from the shelter when he was a tiny, underweight, sick little kitten. He almost died of Panleukopenia (kitty distemper), which is usually fatal, and was adopted by two wonderful guys, Jeff and Greg, who waited a whole month for him to get over other ailments.
- Nelia, Saving Grace, Dec 2008

"The kitties are doing great and have added so much to our home. Surprisingly, Tiger Lily has blossomed and is the verbal, mischevious one, while Jynx is the laid back, shyer one now. I've attached a couple of pics so you can see how they've grown and how beautiful they are. Again, thanks for allowing them to be a part of our lives.
